"But they can just play on low graphics." Blizzard tends to hate developing stuff that small portions of their playerbase use. WoW already runs like shit without a great CPU, considering the fact a giant portion of the playerbase plays on laptops, shitty pcs from 2008 and imacs, improving the graphics would instantly shut this portion of their consumers out of their product. Its massively resource intensive, not just for Blizzard but for their users' computers.
